Kincraig Minnie broke her metacarpal bone before she started racing and went on to race a total of 30 times, winning 17. She won the Dundealgan Trophy and Irwin Cup unbeaten and her fastest time was 28.92 round Lifford ,which was only a length and a half outside the existing track record. Her 17 wins that season was only bettered in the North by English Derby winner Chart King.
From her seven litters she bred some decent greyhounds. National record holder, Kilquane Lass, open sprinter ,Kincraig Jerry, Magee Memorial winner, Hidden Depths, Multiple race winner , Not So Famous (28.74 Sittingbourne and 23.82 Romford FTOY) Lifford Champions Stakes finalist and Derby trial Stake winner Dynasty Beauty (30.17 550 BSK FTOY) Other notable mentions are multiple race winners Stoke Wonder and Minority report. But her best was Kincraig Brindle from her litter to Smooth Rumble. Kincraig Brindle. Brindle raced only 23 times, winning 14, which included victories in the Lifford Guys and Dolls, Failte 600, Consolation North West Derby and North West Oaks. She was voted NIGOBA race bitch of the year 2003, in the same year Kincraig Minnie was voted as best Brood. Brindles 32.52 in the final of the Failte 600 was just two spots outside the still standing track record and is still the second fastest ever recorded at the venue. Both the two previous record holders where in the final as well.
The Smooth Rumble and Frisby Flashing litters where Minnie's best and most productive litters. In total she bred just over 200 race winners of various grades from 7 litters.
Nothing of note hit the track from her first litter to Mustang Jack, but daughter Not So Dark bred Cock of the North winner ,Dark Star Henry, William Hill Puppy Classic Winner and English Puppy Derby finalist, Ronnies Champion. Not So Dark bred other open class greyhounds that mostly ran in England, ie Spoofy Doo, Roswell Startrek.
Her daughter Kincraig Lauren, (Larkhill Jo) has bred Derby Trial stake winner, Have A Fit (29.87 550 LFD) Tikram 28.65 HRX, Sussex Cup finalist, Rocky Rocket (28.62 525 LGF), open sprinter Lavey Maeve (17.88 335, 28.88 525) Mays Little Gem (28.65 525), and Jackie McCann memorial and Langton Derby winner Burst of Magic.
Kincraig Brindle has also bred Kilmalady Marco (28.72 SHB), Droopys Scholes Unraced consolation winner Hutz Pah, a dog that trainer Laurence Jones said was the fastest he ever put a lead on and who got injured early in his career. She also bred multiple open sprint winner, Kincraig Castle, AIB stakes winner and finalist in both Longford and Youghal Derbies Kilmalady Torres (28.42 SHB), open Sprinter, Kincraig Alex (17.99 335), Ted Hegarty Marathon finalist, Kincraig Jaime and last but not least, English Derby finalist, Kincraig Rory (28.45 WMB and 17.65 Drumbo)
Kincraig Minnie is a half sister of Pony Nikita, dam of Irish Derby winner Cool Performance, and her mother, Minnie's Luck, is a full sister to Scottish Derby Finalist, West End, Irish Oaks and Irish Laurels finalist Live Commentary, grand dam of four times track record holder Barnfield On Air. Minnies Luck is also a half sister to English Derby finalist Here's Andy, Irish Derby Winner Tina Marina, and legendary Guinness 600 winner Spiral Nikita. Tina Marina was also the dam of two times Irish Oaks winner Marinas Tina, and is a sister of Minnie's Surprise, maternal grand dam of Irish Derby winner, College Causeway. All these are from the brilliant foundation brood Minnies Nikita.
The Kincraig branch of this line has produced some good dogs. But the dam line itself when traced back is one of the greatest of all time and includes other recent superstars like Irish Oaks winner Borna Best, Borna Mist and Borna Pilot.
